Born and bred in the United Kingdom, Holy Goof is a versatile producer and DJ. For the last decade, the Coventry-based bass music artist has showcased his ability to stretch across genres and create hit after hit.

Holy Goof (affectionately referred to as Goof) began his musical career in 2014. For two years, he hopped around playing every club imaginable in the UK: Fabric, The Empire, Basement 45, Bar Thirteen, The Nest, and plenty more. His signature sound–a fluid, bass-house hybrid that sources inspiration from bassline to grime and everything in between–is playful and direct. He regularly mixes powerful drum and bass flourishes into his tracks, which helps keep dancefloors energized late into the night. His talents and innovation have allowed him to work with an A-list roster of collaborators like DJ Zinc, Jauz, Flava D, Chris Lorenzo, and Notion. Goof has also been tapped for primo remixes for Tiësto, Post Malone, Martin Garrix, Khalid, NGHTMRE, and A$AP Ferg.

In 2018, Goof skyrocketed onto the scene with a bootleg remix of Drake’s hit “God’s Plan.” The track went viral seemingly overnight. His fun-loving, bass house approach allows the versatile young producer to stretch across sub-genres and condense them into a smash hit. 2018 also saw the release of Goof’s biggest curated album to date, 

. On his signature mix for the London-based dance music brand, Goof featured 15 tracks exclusive to the mix and eight unreleased tracks. Before his FabricLive mix, he also contributed guest mixes to BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Rinse FM.

Over the years, Holy Goof has gained somewhat of a cult following, especially in Australia and America. Maybe it’s because, with his own music, he uses broad parameters for the new bass sound. And with his mixes, he consistently highlights as many talented peers as possible. One thing is for certain, Holy Goof is ensuring the UK bass culture continues to impact electronic music for a long time.
